keeping up

i've not been updating this space for a little too long.
and no, im not gonna close down this blog, simply
because it has just too many things in here!
Army is taking up so much of my time and i cant find
enough time to even update!

Enough of those crap. So since 2nd Nov, here's a list
of things i can recall which happened =)

now that the field camp is over, SIT test is round the corner.
thats gonna happen on thursday and all the way til saturday.

im praying hard that the weather will be good and its not gonna
be fucked up yea. celebrating my birthday during SIT test aint
gonna be fun right.

sigh. theres nothing i can do to change this!
before im off for dinner, bath, changeup, i shall wish myself
an advance happy birthday for this Friday!

things have been going on smoothly on the little island,
nothing much rather than the usual rants, trainings, food & sleep.

booking out on Saturday isn't cool at all, but its the norm for now.
reaching home 2 hours past noon and knowing you're weekend is
just left with the few pathetic hours sucks. whatever it is, managed
to meet up with Melissa, Ping, Jason for some bites and ice cream.
After we parted, i went on to meet kimng for dinnnnner.

Arghs.
this coming tuesday we'll be heading for the woods.
putting it simply, its FIELD CAMP. hopefully its gonna be fun and fruitful,
and of course we pray that we wont get fished up too badly.

wish me luck.

motorshow08

motorshow 08 was pretty much a disappointment.
first time ever, i spent less than half a day at the show itself.
the highlight was probably Russ Swift's and his son's stunt performance.

no more exhibitors that brings in supercars, no more ferraris,
lambos, and worse of all, not even a mercs or bmw. seriously,
the show is bad as compared to the past. i guess that's a good
reflection of how badly the market is performing out there.
people are pretty skeptical and pessimistic on the economic
outlook, especially with the Lehman and Merill Lynch falls.

thanks to our Muslim friends out there, i booked out
for the 2nd time in my life today. frankly, i rather
stay in for this <24hours public 'holiday' given to us.
the hassle of traveling, time wasted yada yada..
i guess its just that we haven't learn how to love
the feeling of booking out.

anyway, to the Muslim friends out there, the title is
dedicated to you, do enjoy, collect more green packets
and share more goodies foodies with me yea.
for the rest, enjoy this little break from whatever
you're doing, be it school, work, or dreadful shit.

oh, the sore throat bug caught me!
seems to be a common ailment for visitors to the lovely
island called pulau tekong. most others have got cough,
flu etc etc, while im having a pretty bad sore throat
that made my voice damn sexy.

wish me well and i hope i shall be fine by weekends.
miss ng, you're booked for friday night and please
let me look forward to it. time for the bed.

11 and counting

yes, and 2 weeks went off with the blink of an eye.
sum it all up, BMT is still bearable and not as bad
as what i've thought. Only if things remain this way
(which i seriously doubt). In fact for the past 2 weeks,
things are pretty fun at times too.

no doubt learning curves are steep, but i guess as long
as i keep my attention span there, things shall be fine.

to my surprise, 95% of the whole company are poly grads.
a couple of sec school dropouts, poly dropouts, ITE, SHATEC,
yada yada. good and bad. bad being u have a less diverse mix,
lesser interesting stories, lesser 'outstanding' individuals.
good being, its a little easier to relate, or rather 'communicate'

11 more weeks til POP
8 more hours til i see tekong again.

this is getting too fast. and the day is here.
haha. so that will be 2 weeks from now before anyone sees me again.

anyway, i think its no big deal. just part and parcel of life. HAHA
