eventful Saturday

and again, i was in school this morning for the OIAP
briefing/dialogue session. was pretty ok, and the turnup
was surprisingly good, bearing in mind its a Saturday morning.

after which, we went down to Takashimaya for lunch.
since it was 12+ and i couldn't get a place at Crsytal Jade Palace,
we decided to try our luck at Crystal Jade Palace. and yeay,
I managed to get a 10-pax table reserved. Lunch was good!
we had a great time ordering dim sum and by the time we're done,
we started worrying if we could finish all of them. i guess there were
at least 30+++ longs (steam cages, i dont know what you call them!)
to be shared among 8 of us. Yeelin was there but she's on diet!

as far as i can remember, we had
-har gao, siew mai, char siew baos, char siew pastry,
-chicken feet, roasted pork, teochew dumplings,
-chee cheong fun, lotus leaf glutinous rice, carrot cake
i believe there were some more of which my failing
memory couldn't help me. anyway thats A LOT of food.

we went down to Civic Plaza after lunch to show some
support for fellow BA students who were trying to sell some
handcrafted 'wonderknots' to raise funds. woohoo!
they broke Singapore Book of Records too.
